Using the Pilkington expertise in glass manufacture we developed our unique range of cerium doped glass types which have been utilised on over 2500 satellites worldwide. During the past 36 years our glass compositions, together with our bespoke coating designs, have positioned Qioptiq Space Technology as the major supplier of both Solar Cell Coverglasses and Optical Solar Reflectors to the world space industry.
